Consumer was traveling 50mph and oil pressure gauge went out. Vehicle stopped accelerating, pulled to side of road. Had vehicle towed to dealer. Oil pump had to be replaced, costing $1400.00. Dealer was never available to talk to consumer to explain why this happened so soon. Mechanic is suggesting that engine be replaced, so problem won't happened again. *ak

Oil and engine light came on. Pulled over to check oil, and oil was very low. Had just changed oil two weeks ago. Consumer noticed a loud noise coming from under engine when accelerating, but not at all times. Another time while driving on parkway vehicle died, consumer came close to having an accident. Had continous problem with the oil pressure guage flucuating, vehicle had been maintained, oil was always checked and changed when needed, told by mechanic faulty filter, said was no leaks but had to add oil at times.
