My 2000 durango has started stalling while driving. Steering locks up and is hard to pull over to the side of the road. Has done this at multiple speeds and conditions of driving. Mostly happened in stop and go traffic. No prior warning to it stalling or losing all power. Once the vehicle is shut off it is hard to re-start again, at this time the battery, oil pressure, gas and temp gauges wont operate. I have had to…

The last oil change done by a friend found clumps of oil in the motor. Today i need a new engine. Apparently the oil pump was not working correctly from the beginning. The damage is major. It appears as though the oil had never been changed in my vehicle. My engine light never lid up, until the moment my engine came apart. I am out of warranty. Is there anything i can do to receive assistance from dodge?????

Engine has had a miss in it since we purchased the car. We have took it back to the dealer 3 times complaining, with the first one was before it had 2000 miles on the car. The dealership told us the first time that it would/did not show up on the computer until it had over 2000 miles on the car. So drive it until then, and if it still did it bring it back in. We brought it back in at 3,803 miles,7,596 miles and then…

Engine misses at idle speed. Rpm's vary from 800 to 500 and sometimes down to 300 at which point the engines starts to lug and strains to keep running. It doesn't do this all the time. First thing in the morning usually and usually when i have just come off of the interstate. I've taken it to two different dealers neither which have been able to find a problem.(no check engine light....then no problem). *ak
