My 2005 dodge durango 5.7 4wd hemi, has been kicking itself into 4 wd, 4 lo and even neutral while driving down the highway. The car will be off and you can hear mechanical mechanisms at work. The vehicle going into neutral has happened only while driving on the highway and the the other shifts happen all the time no matter what the vehicle is doing parked driving or no key.

I was driving my vehicle while conducting a u-turn on boulder highway and the car shut off right in the middle of the street.
