My vehicle shuts off during turns and when slowing to come to a stop. It is frightening. I've taken it to a dealer who tells me they've never heard of this happening with my make and model yet i have read similar concerns as mine on the internet when i started researching it. My 2011 dodge durango has trouble starting on the first start. Mechanic said there was a bulletin regarding the issue and informed me that we should try updating the software. That did not work. Recall t36 2011 dodge durango while driving, my durango began losing power. When i pulled over and lifted the hood, smoke was pouring from the alternator. It was towed to a mechanic, who informed me that the alternator burned up and my 3 month old battery was now dead. After the battery and alternator were replaced, it was discovered that the power control module was fried and would need to be replaced.
