Upon starting and shifting into drive, the vehicle does not move, even when applying throttle. The engine revs, but the car does not move. Thereafter, when the car is shifted into reverse and then again into drive, the car stalls. When restarting, the starter cranks for about five or six seconds before cranking. *tr

Computer chip failure causes vehicle to shut down. Dealer contacted but wants to charge $1000 for an emissions covered failure. Claims anti-freeze caused failure. Separate auto mechanic says computer is in gel pack and wasn't effected by anti-freeze and connectors are not corroded. *jb
