I had brought my 2000 durango into my dealership and i had my ball joints checked, my upper and lower ball joints failed in addition to my front tires being damaged as a result. I was told by the chrysler dealer that they could not fix it, there were 40,000 miles on the vehicle. I also spoke to the district service manager and he said there was nothing they could do to help pay for the repairs.*ak

Heard popping noise in my 2000 dodge durango at 40,000. Had it looked at by a mechanic that said he could not find a problem. Also noticed popping upon braking while pulling a pop-up camper and a 19' boat. Went for a virginia inspection recently and failed due to bad upper ball joint. Is someone going to have to die before this problem is taken care of?
