When filling the fuel tank, gasoline shoots out of the tank once the tank is full and after the pump handle has detected the tank being full and has shut off. I understand from talking to the local dealer, chrysler customer service and many comments on the internet that chrysler recalled certain 2005 durango's made in specific plants with specific parts. I was told by the dealer and by chrysler customer service that…

When i fill the gas tank up gas comes back out the gas tank and goes on the ground and gets on the vehicle and on clothing. I have tried numerous gas stations and it happens all the time. I checked to see if there is a recall on my vehicle and there is not, but they have recalls on the same year and model as mine. This is a big safety issue and health issue because the gas comes in contact with your skin and risk of…

After effects from previous fuel leakage has caused rust damage to the fuel tank connector rings. The safety of the vehicle is a huge concern as this can cause the vehicle to catch on fire at any time. Solution recommended: replace fuel tank & fuel pump.

I am not happy that my vin number pulls up only one recall when a few of the issues that i am having are on the recall list. For starters the side of my vehicle is flaking paint and not to mention everytime i fuel it, gas spurts all over the vehicle and ground. A major fire hazard especially when my children are in the back 2 seats. *tr

When fueling, there is no shutoff so fuel goes everywhere. Dealership says problem was fixed but it is not fixed. It has been doing this since i purchased the vehicle. It is very unsafe and causes a wet slippery surface at gas pump, along with gas leakage down the side of vehicle, which has created rust now.
