    Seat Belts

Upon parking and removing the seatbelt, i noticed it would not retract. Upon further visual inspection, there is a crack on both sides of the part that holds the strap. Dealership states this is not covered under warranty. However, this seems like a huge safety concern if the part is faulty and there had been an accident. Please see picture.

    Air Bags · Seat Belts

Airbag light and service airbag system warning constantly on. Airbag system deactivated. Very dsngerous if collison were to hsporn. Told my vin is not included in recall p67, which is the issue i am having. This seems to be a common problem with multiple reports of not being included in the recall yet experiencing the same safety issue that is covered under recall p67.

    Seat Belts

The seat belt will not retract nor lock up (tension) when stopping suddenly. I have taken it in to the dealership for this issue once already. They told my husband it was due to me yanking on the seatbelt. Which is something i do not do. I cannot even feed it back into the slot. I discovered the seatbelt would not lock up while exiting a parking lot. A vehicle turned in front of me and i had to slam on my brakes. I…

    Air Bags · Seat Belts

The airbag light will frequently illuminate and disable seat belt tensioners and airbag function. Same thing that is under recall with other durango vehicles (recall p67). Dodge claims my specific vehicle is unaffected and not under recall but i find it hard to believe since the exact same issue is occurring. Any grand cherokee model made the same day as my vehicle, or the exact same durango if manufactored two…
